I dare not go out alone, not even to pick up a delivery at the door. What should I do? By Anonymous | Published on December 18, 2024

I was afraid to go out alone, and even going to the supermarket took a long time to mentally prepare. Going to the library, I had to check how to get in, for fear of making a fool of myself. As a result, I haven't gone yet.

went out to eat. I didn't know how to order the waiter, and every time it was someone else who did. I really didn't know what to do in a restaurant without a QR code payment option on the table. I was completely tongue-tied, and it was all paid for by my classmates.

Even for the delivery of express packages at home, the last time I went was after a long internal struggle, and that was last summer. I hesitated for a long time before going to learn to drive last time, and this vacation I'm having second thoughts again. I'm using the excuse that it's hot

What should I do now? Should I push myself a little, for example, not think about anything and just rush to the library tomorrow?

Moss Davis Forgiveness is a way to free our souls from the heavy burden of grudges.

I can totally relate to feeling anxious about simple tasks like going to the supermarket. It's comforting to know I'm not alone in these struggles. Maybe starting with small steps, like planning a short trip to the library just to look around without any pressure, could help build up confidence.

It sounds tough dealing with social situations like restaurants where you're unsure of the process. Perhaps practicing what you might say to a waiter at home or with a friend could ease those worries. Preparing yourself this way might make the actual experience less daunting.

I get how intimidating it can be to do things for the first time, especially when it comes to something as significant as learning to drive. It's okay to feel hesitant. Maybe finding a supportive friend to go with you or setting realistic goals for each driving lesson could make it more manageable.

Theodore Miller The pursuit of knowledge in different fields is like a pilgrimage, with each step adding to one's erudition.

Feeling out of place or unsure in everyday scenarios can be really challenging. Instead of rushing into something like heading straight to the library, consider setting smaller milestones. Like, maybe start by looking up the library's layout online or chatting with someone who goes there often to get tips. Taking it one step at a time can be really effective.
