Hello, question asker!

Your question will prompt another session of sharing experiences, so thank you for asking!

When I am in anxiety, I am flooded with thoughts. One thought triggers one kind of anxiety, and another thought triggers another kind of anxiety. I feel confused, dizzy, and exhausted. My mood is affected. I am mentally exhausted.

Anxiety is a feeling of unease that comes from worry. It contains elements of impatience, tension, panic, and restlessness.

It is related to critical situations and unpredictable events that are difficult to deal with. Once the situation has passed, the anxiety will be relieved.

I have summarized the following methods that work.

The best way to fight anxiety is to act. Find a good method and go ahead and do it.

You will find a way out while acting. You will have concrete gains, not just empty thoughts.

2. Identify the source of anxiety and distinguish between facts and your own thoughts. Then, take a deep breath and relax the tense part of your body. After a few deep breaths, you'll feel the physical tension ease, and your thoughts will return to you.

3. Be aware of your anxiety. When you are anxious, a certain part of your body is bound to be tense. Take a deep breath and direct your breathing to that tense part to relax it.

Your mood will improve.

Meditation is the most scientifically proven way to relieve anxiety. If you are not trained, you can open the One Mind Meditation Planet, where there are many high-quality free meditation courses to choose from.

5. The eye movement method is simple and effective. Sit up straight, focus your gaze on a point in front of you, and then, as you count, look first to the left, then to the right.

After a few repetitions, you will feel a lot less anxiety.

There are many other effective methods we use in our daily lives. For example, chatting with friends and family, engaging in sports, reading books, etc.

Good day. My name is Shu Yacheng, and I am pleased to have this opportunity to share my thoughts in response to your question. It is my hope that I can provide you with some assistance and support.

It is undoubtedly beneficial to conduct thorough research and make well-informed decisions when seeking employment that offers opportunities for growth and compensation. It is not uncommon to experience feelings of anxiety when faced with significant challenges or concerns. It is important to recognize that these emotions are normal and can be effectively managed through a combination of self-care and professional support.

Prior to securing a position that fulfills your professional aspirations, you may find it beneficial to engage in reading material that alleviates anxiety and stress. Additionally, seeking guidance from psychological literature could prove advantageous. You are commendable in your pursuit of professional advancement.

A desirable position would be one that offers a high salary, minimal work, and proximity to one's residence. Additionally, a favorable work environment and opportunities for advancement would be advantageous. It is evident that such a position would be a significant benefit in one's career. It is reasonable to assume that few individuals would not desire such a role.

In addition to having our own internal needs and standards, it is also essential to have a comprehensive understanding of ourselves and to accept ourselves fully.

Self-acceptance can be defined as the ability to comprehend one's inherent characteristics, strengths, and weaknesses while still affirming and recognizing one's existence.

In addition to an objective and balanced evaluation system, self-acceptance requires a sufficient level of positive feedback to provide the strength to pursue potential that may have previously been unattainable. Furthermore, it enables individuals to confront circumstances beyond their control, accept their circumstances, and identify alternative solutions.

Attaining self-acceptance necessitates the possession of a stable and objective self-awareness, the capacity for independent thinking, and the ability to engage in self-reflection, self-care, and self-regulation.

In this manner, each choice and decision will be inextricably linked to one's inner self, thereby eliminating the experience of conflict and depletion.

02. In psychology, the "Warenda effect" is a phenomenon that originated from the story of the renowned American tightrope walker Warenda. In his later years, Warenda's focus shifted predominantly towards the outcome, which ultimately led to his failure on his final attempt.

Subsequently, this mentality, which manifests itself as concern about gains and losses under significant psychological pressure and ultimately results in some counterproductive outcomes, has been designated the "Warlenda mentality" or "Warlenda effect" by psychologists.

It is crucial to recognize the significance of work and career. It is essential to ascertain one's intrinsic motivations and priorities. What are the driving forces behind one's professional aspirations? Is it the prospect of continuous growth, a competitive remuneration package, or a supportive and tranquil work environment?

If one is able to satisfy the aspect of one's life that is of greatest importance to them, it is unnecessary to devote significant attention to other areas. This implies that it is not beneficial to demand perfection in these other areas.

The pursuit of perfection or the maintenance of excessively high expectations will inevitably result in feelings of anxiety and pressure regarding the potential for gain or loss, which may be conceptualized as the "Walden mentality."

Indeed, lowering expectations or committing to continuous learning and improvement after joining the workforce, while letting go of concerns about gaining or losing, can result in a sudden sense of clarity and ease in the heart. Stress and anxiety can also be relieved and released.

It is of particular importance to maintain an ordinary mind at this juncture.

03. The term "ordinary mind" is a psychological concept that pertains to an individual's disposition towards the evolution and transformation of phenomena.

Ordinary mind does not necessitate a passive response to success and failure; rather, it requires striving with sincerity, without the demand for perfection. As long as one has exerted one's best effort, that is sufficient. The key is to maintain a tranquil and unhurried heart.

It is a common misconception that the ordinary mind is merely a collection of ideas such as inaction, non-contention, non-greed, and contentment. However, these concepts represent merely the surface of the ordinary mind.

Those with the potential to achieve a goal must endeavor to do so. To refrain from doing so is, in fact, an act of irresponsibility toward oneself. The key is to maintain a sense of equanimity regarding success or failure, regardless of whether or not one achieves either.

The reason why many individuals lack an ordinary mindset is because their hearts are susceptible to being overshadowed by worldly fame and fortune.

Individuals with an ordinary mind are capable of thinking positively when confronted with challenging situations. They are able to consider multiple perspectives and make adjustments when necessary, demonstrating self-awareness and a commitment to avoiding prejudice and passive behavior.

Simply maintaining a calm and leisurely state of mind can facilitate the greatest potential of an individual. It can also effectively regulate negative emotions, including anxiety.

Furthermore, in addition to self-acceptance, maintaining an ordinary heart and engaging in reading are beneficial practices. It has been demonstrated that daily physical exercise, mindfulness meditation, painting, writing, music, and other activities can effectively alleviate stress and anxiety, foster emotional well-being, and enhance one's capacity to navigate life's challenges with greater peace and tolerance.

Reading is a beneficial pastime. It is recommended that readers peruse psychology books on personal growth, such as "The Courage to Be Disliked," "Have a Life You Control," and "wooP Thinking Psychology," among others.

It is my sincere hope that I can be of assistance to you.

Good morning, Sir/Madam Landlord.

Reading can be an effective method for alleviating anxiety. I have found this to be true as well and have incorporated it into my routine.

I trust you are also aware of other common methods for alleviating anxiety, such as regular exercise to release dopamine in the brain, improved diet and adequate sleep, streamlined work-life balance to reduce stress, time in nature, socialization and recreation, mindfulness meditation, etc.

In addition to this, I believe that identifying the root cause of your anxiety is an effective way to improve your state of mind. Once you have identified the source of your anxiety, you can then take steps to eliminate or resolve it, thereby reducing your overall anxiety levels.

Anxiety is a state of mind that is intolerant of uncertainty. Therefore, identifying the source of that uncertainty, distinguishing between controllable and uncontrollable factors, and focusing on the latter to complete the task at hand is equivalent to setting a very specific, clear, and practical goal based on the current conditions. Once this goal is set, anxiety will be effectively relieved.

For the uncontrollable parts, you can also prepare contingency plans to address potential issues. For instance, you can identify potential challenges and develop strategies to address them. This approach can help alleviate some of the anxiety associated with uncertainty. It's similar to the job interview process. While you cannot control the specific questions an interviewer will ask, you can anticipate the general direction and scope of the questions and prepare initial responses.

Anxiety about job hunting is a common emotion. There are many uncertainties before a job offer is finalized because the first job is not just a simple labor exchange for salary. It also involves various aspects of one's real independent life, and many of these aspects are affected by uncertain factors, including one's own feelings, needs, and ideas, which will change as the job hunting process progresses.

It would be beneficial to undertake some deterministic work and record the results. The first step is to list the expectations for the role and the changes it can bring to your life, and then rank them in order of importance.

For example, consider the alignment between your core values and the corporate culture, the position and future growth potential of your industry within the industrial chain structure, the fit between your skills, knowledge, and abilities and the requirements of the job, the alignment between the salary and income you can expect to earn and your career development aspirations, and so on.

These factors can be classified according to their desired outcomes and undesired consequences, or according to their costs and losses. Additionally, the user can assign weights to the factors, rank them according to their importance, and assign a score.

It is also advisable to consider all aspects of the lifestyle you envisage for yourself in the next few years. Finally, score each company and position you plan to interview for according to the criteria previously outlined. Add up the scores to get an overall score, and use this figure to determine which job is the most suitable for you.

For example, perhaps future development opportunities in the job are more important than the current salary level, and working in a certain industry is more important than working in a certain city at this stage. Of course, it can be the other way around, depending on personal preferences. The key to this whole process is that you need to be relatively sure of what you need and have a clear understanding of yourself – your strengths and weaknesses, your skills and abilities, and your resources and conditions. Coupled with a clear understanding of the target position, you will feel clearer about your goals throughout the job search process, and it will be easier to judge whether you are suitable for the target position. You will also be more comfortable making trade-offs.

I wish you the utmost success in your job search.

This concludes the process. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Good evening.

You've tried an effective way to combat anxiety: reading.

What else can you do to relieve anxiety?

Breathe in and out of your abdomen.

Abdominal breathing relaxes your body and relieves anxiety.

Breathe in deeply, filling your abdomen, and count to five.

Breathe in and count to five. Then breathe out and relax.

This is a full set of abdominal breathing exercises. Practice ten sets, resting between each. Do this twice a day for 3-5 minutes for two weeks.

Second, relax your muscles.

Lie down and take three abdominal breaths to calm your body.
