Unsure of my own strengths and what I am suited for, I wish to find purpose and courage. By Anonymous | Published on December 18, 2024

I'm unsure of my own strengths and what I'm suited for. Everything seems to captivate me for only three minutes, and I've just enrolled in a learning institution for concurrent associate's and bachelor's degrees. Yet, for some reason, I can't find my direction. Is it because the pressure isn't great enough, or am I just too carefree? To put it crudely, am I heartless? I'm torn, yearning to find a goal that will sustain my determination and give me the courage to keep moving forward.

Hello question asker!

You sound like me. Many people feel this way, but I haven't given up. I've been working hard. When the questioner looks for a problem, it's also a kind of change. There's an expectation.

What made you feel this way? When will you not feel this way?

Why did you want to read the book in one go? Think about why you feel powerless and uncertain.

I sometimes feel like I'm caught in a whirlpool of wanting answers. I remember being especially sad and confused before. I wondered why others were still working hard while I was humble but unwilling to learn.

I don't know the situation, but I feel like the questioner lacks confidence and belief in themselves. What do you think?

These situations may be related to your family's education and environment. It's not your fault. You feel helpless, but I want you to know you have potential. Practice makes perfect.

The questioner has expectations. They want to change the status quo, set a goal, and be dedicated and persevere. Is that right?

How will the questioner feel if he achieves this expectation? Who will notice the change?

If you become confident, goal-oriented, and full of energy tomorrow, what will you have done to make it happen?

I don't know the situation, but I have some suggestions to relieve bad moods, regain self-confidence, and gain motivation.

Become one with your body and mind.

Do what you say you will do every day to improve your self-confidence.

If you say it, you must do it.

Your words and feelings should match.

(2) Think positively.

This means thinking positively and avoiding negative thoughts. When you encounter difficulties, don't give up.

Repeat confident words to yourself to improve your self-confidence.

Psychological research has confirmed this.

3. Believe in the power of accumulation.

No matter how big the stone, it cannot stop the seed from sprouting. Once the seed starts to sprout, it will never stop growing. Everyone knows that a drop of water can wear through a stone, but no one believes it. Everyone is just starting out, but most people believe they are strong and sharp from the start, which is unrealistic.

Be patient and wait for the benefits and strength that come with time.

Accept yourself.

People always live too hard and compare themselves to others. This makes them mediocre.

I once read that life is about seeing, discovering, and accepting oneself. People often feel dissatisfied and compare themselves to others because they only see themselves through others' eyes.

If you're always unhappy with yourself, you'll always feel anxious. To get rid of anxiety, you have to accept yourself. As long as you've tried your best, you haven't failed.

Learn to release negative emotions.

We are often asked to be emotionally stable. We hide our negative emotions.

Suppressed emotions attack the body.

TCM says many physical problems are caused by emotions.

Fear hurts the kidneys, sadness hurts the lungs, thinking hurts the spleen, joy hurts the heart, and anger hurts the liver.

All emotions are important. It's important to learn to release energy in the right way.

Believe in yourself.

Don't doubt yourself. When you doubt yourself, you lose confidence and feel powerless. Believe in yourself. This gives you courage to face problems and overcome difficulties.

After the darkest days, you'll understand that sadness, loneliness, and confusion will help you face the future.

Keep going! You'll win if you don't give up.

I love you, world!

Wyatt Davis Knowledge from different domains combines to create a more complete world - view.

I understand how you feel, and it's completely normal to feel lost sometimes. Maybe it's time to explore different fields through electives or extracurricular activities, which can help you discover what truly excites you beyond the threeminute mark. Finding a mentor or counselor at your learning institution might also provide guidance in identifying your strengths and setting a path.

Claire Thomas A person who forgives is a person who is in control of their emotions.

Feeling undirected can be tough, but it's not about being heartless or carefree; it's more about not having found the right fit yet. Perhaps engaging in selfreflection or even joining clubs and groups that align with various interests could offer insights into what you're passionate about. It's all part of the journey to finding your purpose.

Juliet Miller The more one knows about different topics, the more they can be a lighthouse for those lost in the sea of ignorance.

It sounds like you're searching for something meaningful to dedicate yourself to, and that's a powerful place to be in. Sometimes, giving yourself permission to experiment and make mistakes is the best way to learn and grow. Try setting small, achievable goals in different areas of study to see where your passion lies, and don't be afraid to change direction if needed.
