What is the foundation of a person's self-confidence? By Anonymous | Published on December 26, 2024

Why do you always avoid showing off your talents and feel embarrassed to accept compliments from others? In fact, this wasn't always the case...

Sometimes dressing up nicely can really boost your confidence, but this kind of confidence that relies on external material things will only make you spend more money unnecessarily, get caught in the trap of consumerism, and it's also easy to compare yourself with others. It's unreliable. Is there any way to build a solid confidence? Something short-term.

I used to be more open about my talents too, but over time I've become more reserved. It's true that relying on material things for confidence can lead to unnecessary expenses and comparisons. To build solid confidence quickly, focusing on personal achievements and internal validation might help. Practicing gratitude and mindfulness can also be beneficial.

Building genuine selfconfidence doesn't have to involve external factors. For a shortterm boost, setting small, achievable goals and celebrating when you reach them can make a big difference. It's also helpful to remind yourself of past successes and the qualities that make you unique.

Jonas Anderson The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.

Confidence rooted in selfawareness and selfacceptance is much stronger. Quick ways to foster this could include daily affirmations or engaging in activities that challenge you and play to your strengths. Avoiding social media or limiting exposure to consumerist messages can also prevent feelings of inadequacy from creeping in.
