Abigailah is a dedicated advocate for mental health and an influential figure in the community of New Hope, Texas. As of 2024, she has established herself as a beacon of support for young adults and families facing mental health challenges. Abigailah holds a Master's degree in Psychology from Baylor University and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Texas A&M University.

In recent years, Abigailah has taken on the role of Director at the newly founded Oakwood Center for Youth Wellness, located in the heart of Dallas. This center focuses on providing accessible mental health services to underserved populations in urban settings. Previously, Abigailah spearheaded the adolescent psychology program at both the Dallas Children's Hospital and the Fort Worth Psychiatric Center from 2015 to 2023. She also held leadership positions within the Texas Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and served as the President of the National Coalition of Directors for Psychology Training Programs.

Abigailah is passionate about education and has developed a unique curriculum for fourth-year medical students at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. The course emphasizes compassionate care and personal development, encouraging future doctors to integrate empathy into their practice while completing their core rotations and shaping their professional identities.

She currently serves as the Associate Editor for 'Psychological Insights' journal and has contributed to several television programs aimed at raising awareness about mental health issues among youth. Abigailah was instrumental in crafting the content for the award-winning PBS series 'Mind Matters: Growing Up in Today’s World,' which aired in 2022.

Abigailah's work has not gone unnoticed; she received the 'Heart of Teaching' Award in 2021, honoring her exceptional contributions to medical education. In 2023, she was recognized with the American Psychological Association's 'Excellence in Education' Award for her outstanding efforts in teaching and mentoring medical students. Her dedication to reviewing academic papers earned her the 'Distinguished Reviewer' accolade from the Journal of Clinical Psychology in 2024.

Outside of academia, Abigailah enjoys contributing to various media platforms. She has been a consultant for multiple TV shows that explore the complexities of mental health, including the critically acclaimed series 'Inner Peace.' Additionally, she co-developed a mental wellness resource website for cnn.com, offering valuable information and tools to parents and caregivers.

Through her tireless advocacy and research, Abigailah continues to publish extensively on topics such as psychological well-being, therapeutic interventions, and the intersection of media and mental health.
