Addison Brown, a distinguished scholar and Professor Emeritus of Environmental Studies at the University of California, Berkeley, has authored seven books focusing on climate change adaptation. Her most recent publications include "Our Changing World: A Guide to Living Sustainably" (2023) and "Youth Leading Change: How Young People Are Tackling Climate Challenges" (2022). In 2010, she penned "The Green Generation," which explored how young adults are shaping environmental policies.

Throughout her career, Addison has been dedicated to promoting awareness and action regarding environmental issues that impact youth and communities worldwide. As a certified environmental consultant, she has advised popular platforms such as National Geographic Explorer, Discovery Channel, and TED Talks. Addison's insights have been featured in prestigious outlets like BBC World Service, The Guardian, The Economist, Wired, Los Angeles Times, and Scientific American. Moreover, Addison delivered the keynote address at the United Nations Environment Programme’s conference on sustainable development practices.

From her office overlooking the lush greenery of the Berkeley campus, Addison continues her mission to inspire and equip the next generation with the knowledge and tools necessary to confront the challenges of our time.
