Addison Mendoza, a pioneering psychologist and current head of the Behavioral Health Department at the University of Melbourne, has made significant strides in mental health innovation. Holding a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Stanford University, Addison's expertise lies in developing digital solutions for mental wellness.

In 2023, Addison was honored with the Global Mental Health Advocate Award and the prestigious B.F. Skinner Award for outstanding contributions to behavioral science. Based in Melbourne, Australia, Addison leads the innovative mental health initiatives at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

Most recently, Addison co-founded ThriveTech, a startup dedicated to creating evidence-based virtual reality therapies aimed at treating PTSD and other trauma-related disorders. With over two decades of research experience, Addison not only contributes to academic journals but also shares insights through engaging articles in popular media outlets such as The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, and The Conversation.
