Agatha

Motto:There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed, you accept no excuses, only results.
Agatha is the Jane Smith Endowed Chair in Global Finance at the University of Cambridge. An authority on fintech and sustainable investment, Agatha's insights frequently grace the pages of prominent publications like The Economist, Forbes, Wired, TechCrunch, BBC News, and Sky News, as well as other media from around the globe.
Agatha has penned or co-penned twelve books that traverse finance trade, textbooks, and academic research, which have been translated into ten languages (including French, German, Italian, Russian, Swedish, Turkish, Vietnamese, Hindi, Indonesian, and Hebrew). Her latest book, "The Future of Digital Wealth," has just entered its 4th edition and is a must-read for tech-savvy investors. As such, Agatha travels extensively, speaking on digital transformation in finance, with over 50 engagements each year at global summits, fintech forums, business schools, and private banking clubs.
A versatile scholar, Agatha's work spans across various fields, having published close to 60 articles in top-tier journals (such as Nature Sustainability and Journal of Financial Technology) and practitioner-oriented journals (like MIT Sloan Management Review and Harvard Business Review). She not only enriches the academic community but also serves as a bridge between theoretical knowledge and practical application within the industry.
Agatha’s research encompasses three core areas of finance: (1) innovation in financial services, (2) sustainability in corporate strategy, and (3) dynamics of digital markets. However, she is most renowned for her pioneering work in fintech and her commitment to promoting sustainable investment practices. To date, she has shared her expertise at more than 70 international seminars and workshops and has collaborated with an extensive network of over 40 scholars from diverse academic backgrounds worldwide.
In the heart of historic Cambridge, Agatha continues to challenge and inspire both the next generation of financial leaders and seasoned professionals alike, shaping the future of finance through her innovative research and teaching.
