Amelia Rose Taylor is a distinguished figure in the tech world, holding dual roles at Stanford University’s Department of Computer Science and its Graduate School of Business. She leads the university's AI Innovation Lab as the principal investigator and shares her expertise as a visiting professor at the University of Cambridge. Amelia also serves as a consultant for the San Francisco Tech Hub, is a co-founder of the Institute for Future Technologies, an advisor at Silicon Valley Robotics, and has recently been elected President of the Association for Artificial Intelligence.
Amelia's journey began when she received her bachelor’s degree in computer science from Oxford University. Her thirst for knowledge led her to pursue master’s and doctoral degrees in artificial intelligence from MIT, followed by an additional doctorate in Information Technology Management from Stanford University. Renowned for her groundbreaking research on how AI can enhance decision-making processes in everyday life, Amelia authored the best-selling book "Intelligently Optimized: The Role of AI in Shaping Our Choices."
