Arthur

Motto:A person's most useful asset is not a head full of knowledge, but a heart full of love, an ear ready to listen, and a hand willing to help.
Arthur Thompson, Ph.D., is a cognitive scientist based at the University of Cambridge. His work bridges the fields of psychology, ethics, and practical applications in areas like education and technology development. Arthur's primary focus lies on understanding human perception and decision-making processes, particularly exploring how to enhance the reliability of our judgments and foster decisions that result in more favorable consequences. For instance, during his doctoral studies at Oxford University, Arthur conducted groundbreaking research that identified a previously unnoticed bias in human reasoning and proposed an innovative technique for mitigating its effects.
His latest book, titled "Perception and Decision: Navigating the Path to Improved Accuracy," hit the shelves courtesy of Penguin Random House in March 2024.
Beyond academia, Arthur is also the visionary behind Insight Forge, a company he established to promote better judgment and decision-making across various sectors. Located in the heart of London, Insight Forge offers data-driven tools, workshops, and consulting services designed to equip professionals with the skills they need to make informed choices in today’s fast-paced world. Through his work, Arthur aims to leverage psychological insights to solve real-world problems, contributing to a society where knowledge truly makes a difference.
