Asher Nguyen, Ph.D., is a dedicated professor at the University of Texas at Austin. He finished his doctoral studies in environmental science at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. Asher also holds an M.A. in sustainable development and economics from the London School of Economics.

Recently, he moved to Austin with his family and has since been sharing his expertise at the University of Texas at Austin as well as Rice University. Asher has taught diverse courses ranging from environmental policy to climate change mitigation, engaging students with real-world issues through interactive lectures and discussions. He has traveled extensively, delivering talks and workshops on sustainability in countries like Canada, Brazil, Germany, South Africa, Australia, India, and Spain. His research focuses on renewable energy solutions, climate adaptation strategies, urban ecology, and the intersection of economic policies with environmental conservation.

Nguyen's publications have made significant contributions to the field.
