Athena Simmons, Ph.D., is a dedicated psychologist based in the bustling city of Austin, Texas. With a focus on stress management, emotional resilience, and mental wellness, she has made significant contributions to the field. After earning her master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Simmons completed her APA-accredited internship at Boston University in Massachusetts and a post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Simmons leads workshops on resilience-building and emotional intelligence across North America, empowering individuals to lead healthier, more balanced lives. She's an active member of the American Psychological Association, the International Positive Psychology Association, and the Mindfulness in Education Network. Athena finds joy in hiking the trails around Austin, practicing yoga, and exploring local farmers' markets for fresh produce. An avid traveler, she also loves discovering new cultures and cuisines.
