Ava White

Motto:You are the author of your own life. Write a great story.
Ava White, Ph.D., embarked on her academic journey by earning a bachelor's degree in cognitive psychology from Boston University. She furthered her education with master’s and doctoral degrees in educational psychology from Harvard University. Ava completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in Educational Technology at MIT. Over the next decade, she thrived as an education technology specialist, authoring over 150 articles, guides, and textbooks that became staples in the field of educational innovation.
In 2022, Ava made a significant career shift to join Stanford University as the first Director of Educational Innovation. Here, she spearheaded the development of cutting-edge curricula designed to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes through technology. From 2023 to 2024, Ava was instrumental in establishing the Center for Future Learning at Stanford, where she led initiatives aimed at integrating artificial intelligence into daily classroom practices. During her tenure, she not only crafted comprehensive training programs but also facilitated workshops and provided personalized mentoring to educators looking to embrace the latest technological advancements.
Now, as we step into 2024, Ava continues to inspire and lead from her base in Silicon Valley, advocating for the transformative power of technology in education and shaping the future of how we learn.
