The book was the culmination of three years spent interviewing adolescents and educators across the UK.
Her subsequent work, "Breaking the Silence: A Guide to Understanding Teen Mental Health," launched in January 2023, delved into the challenges faced by teenagers today and proposed innovative strategies for support and intervention. This publication sparked widespread discussion, encouraging open conversations about mental health within schools and families. Most recently, Dr. Russell is preparing to release "A Brighter Tomorrow: Practical Steps for Adolescent Wellness" in early 2025, which aims to provide actionable advice for fostering healthy mental development in youth.
