Bennett

Motto:There's no shame in falling as long as you get back up.
Bennett Miller, Ph.D., is a Cognitive Neuroscientist at Stanford University where he delves into the intricacies of memory, decision-making, and neural plasticity. Living in Palo Alto with his partner and their twin daughters, Bennett finds joy in his downtime by playing the piano, hiking through the redwoods whenever possible, and indulging in photography and cooking.
Sophie Langley, Ph.D., works as a Clinical Psychologist and serves as an Associate Professor of Psychology at UCLA, focusing on training the next generation of therapists and conducting studies on the interplay between emotional regulation and mental health. Her current research interest lies in resilience—the ability to bounce back from adversity. Sophie lives in Santa Monica, California, with her family, and when she's not working, you might find her practicing yoga, sipping coffee at a local café, or exploring the Pacific coastline with her kids.
Together, Bennett Miller and Sophie Langley are the authors of "Beyond the Echoes: The Science of Memory and Resilience." Their book explores how our brains process memories and how we can build strength in the face of life’s challenges, drawing from both their professional expertise and personal experiences.
