Birch Thompson, MA, LPC, is a counselor, educator, and writer who embarks on journeys across Europe to inspire individuals in crafting lives that resonate with their core beliefs. With a heart dedicated to mental wellness advocacy, Birch aims to engage audiences of all backgrounds, especially focusing on the challenges faced by young professionals.
Thompson's academic journey started at Cambridge University, where he pursued dual interests in Sociology and Behavioral Science. He later obtained his Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the London School of Economics. Birch completed his doctoral studies in Educational Psychology at Oxford University.
Having specialized in supporting young professionals, Birch has undergone extensive training at various institutions including the London Business School's Career Development Center and the Berlin Institute for Personal Growth. Additionally, Birch has contributed to research at the European Centre for Work and Society in Vienna, focusing on workplace mental health initiatives.
Currently, Birch is associated with the Copenhagen Psychotherapy Institute for his advanced professional development. Here, he has developed an innovative program called "Mindful Pathways," which guides participants through practical applications of mindfulness and psychological resilience techniques in everyday life. Birch also pioneered the "Craft Your Journey" workshop series, empowering attendees to articulate and navigate their personal and professional narratives.
Birch is the author of two acclaimed books: "Horizons Unbound: Embracing Life’s Possibilities" and "Craft Your Journey: Narratives for a Healthier Mind." Through these works, Birch encourages readers to explore their potential and embrace the richness of human experience.
