Bonnie Marlow, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Cognitive Science at the University of Melbourne where she has recently been awarded the prestigious Laby Medal for her innovative contributions to science and technology. She leads a cutting-edge research team dedicated to exploring how artificial intelligence can enhance human cognitive abilities.

Bonnie earned her B.Sc. from Monash University in 2015, followed by her Ph.D. in Computational Neuroscience from the Australian National University in 2020. Afterward, she took up a postdoctoral position at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, USA, where she specialized in AI-human interaction studies.

In early 2024, Bonnie moved back to her hometown of Melbourne, bringing with her not only a wealth of knowledge but also a fresh perspective on integrating advanced computational models into everyday life. Her current project focuses on developing personalized learning algorithms that adapt to individual brain activity patterns, aiming to revolutionize education and lifelong learning.
