Bradley

Motto:The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are.
Bradley Foster, a renowned expert in environmental sustainability and urban planning, firmly believes that our daily choices shape the future of our planet. Bradley is an influential figure at the University of California, Berkeley, where he serves as a Professor of Environmental Science and Urban Development. With a deep understanding of sustainable practices and innovative city planning, he has dedicated his career to promoting green living and efficient resource management.
Over the past decade, Bradley has spearheaded numerous projects aimed at reducing urban carbon footprints and enhancing public spaces. He currently directs the Green Cities Initiative, one of the most ambitious programs in the United States focused on transforming metropolitan areas into models of sustainability. His work has earned him appearances on leading environmental documentaries and radio shows, and he has been highlighted in prestigious publications like National Geographic and The New York Times.
Bradley's commitment to education led him to author "Sustainable Urban Living: A Guide for the 21st Century" (now in its second edition, published by Earthscan). This book offers practical advice for individuals and communities looking to adopt more environmentally friendly habits. His latest publication, "The Future We Build: Innovations in Urban Sustainability" (Island Press), released in the spring of 2024, explores cutting-edge technologies and policies that can lead to greener cities.
Dr. Foster obtained his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Stanford University and a doctorate in urban studies from MIT. He is also an active member of the American Planning Association and can be contacted at [email protected].
In February 2024, Bradley was invited to speak at the Global Sustainability Summit in Geneva, Switzerland, where he presented groundbreaking research on renewable energy integration in urban settings. His insights have inspired policymakers and community leaders around the world to rethink their approach to urban development, ensuring that future generations can thrive in a healthier, more sustainable environment.
