Brody Knight, Ph.D., is a psychologist and neurotherapist specializing in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based interventions for stress management. Based in Los Angeles, Brody is an Associate Professor of Psychology at UCLA and a consulting psychologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He has been actively involved in research and practice, focusing on mental resilience and emotional regulation strategies.
In recent years, Brody has dedicated his efforts to community outreach programs, particularly those addressing the mental health challenges faced by first responders and veterans. He regularly speaks at workshops across California, promoting awareness and education on PTSD and other trauma-related disorders. Moreover, Brody has appeared as an expert guest on several popular platforms such as The Dr. Oz Show, CNN, and various local radio stations, discussing topics ranging from everyday stress to severe anxiety disorders.
Brody's passion for writing led him to collaborate with Linda Thompson, a seasoned journalist and editor. Together, they have penned "The Path to Inner Peace: Strategies for Everyday Living," which has seen multiple editions and translations into several languages. Linda previously held the position of Editor in Chief at Prevention magazine and was instrumental in launching several successful health and wellness campaigns. She has shared insights on numerous television appearances, including CBS This Morning and MSNBC, and has spoken at conferences on lifestyle changes that foster mental well-being.
Dr. Knight and Linda Thompson are now embarking on a new project together, developing a guidebook aimed at enhancing personal growth through self-awareness and effective communication skills. This upcoming work reflects their commitment to providing practical tools that can help individuals navigate life's complexities more confidently and effectively.
