Motto:I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.

Caleb Adams is a Research Associate at the London School of Economics and Political Science and an Adjunct Professor at New York University's Department of Psychology. Caleb leverages behavioral economics, cognitive science, and field experiments to explore the (often hidden) factors that influence our decision-making processes, attitudes, and beliefs. In 2022, Caleb earned his Ph.D. in psychology from Columbia University and previously obtained his B.A. in cognitive science from Yale University.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Caleb is also the founder of the Behavioral Insights Lab based in London. The lab focuses on empathy: examining its mechanisms and seeking ways to enhance it within communities. Working alongside local authorities, educational institutions, and healthcare providers, Caleb and his team apply their findings to tackle practical issues such as fostering community engagement, supporting mental health initiatives, promoting sustainable living practices, and encouraging civic participation. Through partnerships and innovative projects, they aim to make a tangible difference in people's lives.

As of December 2024, Caleb continues to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application, dedicating himself to research that can lead to positive societal change. His work has not only enriched the academic community but also had a profound impact on policy development and public welfare programs across the city of London.
