Camilla Collins, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist. She is the Founder and currently holds the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of HeartMind Center, located in Austin, Texas. The center offers comprehensive outpatient services and serves as an educational hub for budding mental health professionals. Camilla has previously worked as the Clinical Director at Serenity Place, part of the renowned Peaceful Mind Health Network, where she led innovative therapeutic programs.
In 2023, Camilla was honored with membership to the American Psychological Association and the Society for Psychotherapy Research. This spring, she will be taking on the role of Vice President within the Western Psychological Association. Dr. Collins regularly leads workshops for the American Psychological Association, sharing her expertise on topics such as resilience building, anxiety disorders, and mental wellness strategies.
Board-certified in clinical psychology, Dr. Collins graduated from the Berkeley Psychoanalytic Institute and earned her MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. She contributes to the faculty at the University of Texas at Austin's Department of Psychology and boasts a wealth of experience in supporting educators, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and their families. Dr. Collins works with young adults and mature clients alike, offering therapy sessions, psychological assessments, personal development coaching, and consulting services for non-profit organizations.
