Cecelia Hughes, a globally acclaimed expert in environmental sustainability and community development, has authored more than 150 articles featured in leading international journals. She penned the books "Eco-Wise: Thriving in Harmony with Nature" (GreenLeaf Press), "Roots of Resilience: Building Sustainable Communities" (EarthWorks Publishing), and "The Urban Jungle: Blending Nature into City Life". These works have been translated into over 20 languages.

Cecelia is a Professor of Environmental Studies at the University of Oregon. In 2022, she was honored with the Global Environmental Leadership Award and the Outstanding Educator of the Year by the university. A Fellow of the International Sustainability Institute, Cecelia also contributes to the advisory boards of prominent organizations like National Geographic, The Nature Conservancy, and Siemens.
