Clara Perez

Clara Perez is a dedicated clinical psychologist based in San Francisco, California. She has recently given talks at the International Congress of Applied Psychology in Berlin, the World Federation for Mental Health conference in Tokyo, and participated in workshops with the United Nations mental health initiatives in New York. Clara is known for her contributions to peer-reviewed journals on psychology and mental health, as well as for chapters in several textbooks focusing on cognitive behavioral therapy.
Born in Madrid, Spain, Clara moved to the United States during her teenage years. She pursued her passion for psychology at Stanford University, where she earned both her bachelor's and doctoral degrees. Following this, she completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School, specializing in trauma recovery and resilience.
Clara's latest book, Navigating Resilience: Strategies for Overcoming Adversity (Springer), delves into how individuals can build strength in the face of life's challenges. Her work not only highlights the importance of personal resilience but also emphasizes community support and global mental health advocacy. Clara continues to be an influential figure in advancing psychological practices and policies worldwide.
