Motto:A positive attitude gives you power over your circumstances instead of your circumstances having power over you.

Clement, a dedicated sports enthusiast and academic, made his mark in the world of education and athletics over the past two decades. Having secured an athletic scholarship at the University of Oregon, Clement's journey led him from being an accomplished athlete to coaching, eventually transitioning into academia as a professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). There, he teaches within the Department of Management, focusing on Sports Business and Policy.

In early 2024, Clement published his debut book, "The Unsung Heroes of Sport," which highlights the often unseen contributions of support staff in professional sports. His work has been instrumental in bringing about a new appreciation for these roles within the industry. Inspired by his own experiences in a field traditionally dominated by men, Clement's research delves into leadership strategies, career advancement, and equality, with publications appearing in respected journals like the European Sport Management Quarterly and the International Journal of Leadership Studies.

For the last decade, Clement has been applying his theoretical knowledge in real-world settings, collaborating with various sports clubs and organizations across Europe. He worked closely with Arsenal Football Club to establish the Arsenal Development Academy, a program aimed at nurturing young talent both on and off the pitch. Alongside this, Clement co-founded SportMentor, a consultancy that promotes the growth of leaders and communities through tailored development initiatives.

Certified in numerous assessment tools, including MBTI and StrengthsFinder, Clement partners with teams to identify and cultivate individual strengths. Through dynamic and personalized workshops, he helps athletes and professionals alike to reach their full potential. Holding a Ph.D. in Sports Management from Loughborough University, Clement is committed to advancing the conversation around diversity, equity, and inclusion in sports.

Meanwhile, Dr. Emily Carter, a seasoned educator and author, brings more than two decades of experience in personal and organizational development to her role as a professor at LSE. Specializing in leadership, behavioral science, and management, Dr. Carter instructs students at all levels, from undergraduates to executives. Her latest book, "The Unsung Heroes of Sport," also released in early 2024, explores the undervalued labor in sports organizations, advocating for greater recognition and support for these roles.

Prior to joining LSE, Dr. Carter served as a training director at a leading international hotel chain. She has collaborated with global enterprises, NGOs, and educational institutions to refine their HR practices and foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. With a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the University of Manchester, her research interests include workplace psychology, change management, and the impact of identity on professional success.
