Connor McAllister, Ph.D., is Connor from the latest 2024 cast of the critically acclaimed streaming platform series VISTA and the visionary founder of Mindful Path Theater. Dr. McAllister currently serves as a Lecturer in Psychology at Stanford University and holds an Affiliate Faculty position within the psychology department at Palo Alto Health Network. He is also the Chief Wellness Officer for Silicon Valley Community Services in California, overseeing innovative mental health initiatives.
As a seasoned professional, Connor has managed multiple outpatient therapy centers and acted as the Director of Youth Development Programs, focusing on adolescents with behavioral challenges. He pioneered the Growth Hub, a support center dedicated to empowering young adults facing life transitions, and was instrumental in establishing the Compass Program, which provides comprehensive care for teens at risk.
Dr. McAllister's academic contributions include authoring several influential books: Embracing Change (2018), Navigating Emotions (2019) – which won Best Self-Help Book at the 2019 Lifestyle Awards, Understanding the Teen Brain (2020), Building Resilience Together (2021), and The Power of Empathy: Connecting Through the I-M Approach (2023), recognized for its innovative take on social psychology.
