Motto:If you want to change your circumstances, change your thinking.

Daniel has recently retired as a Professor of Environmental Science at the University of Sydney. He earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Science from the University of Cambridge and has been fortunate enough to secure grants and fellowships from prestigious organizations like the Australian Research Council, the Fulbright Scholarship program, and the MacArthur Foundation.

Over his illustrious career, Daniel's research on climate change and sustainable ecosystems has been featured in top-tier journals and media outlets such as The Sydney Morning Herald, The Conversation, National Geographic, The Australian Financial Review, Wired, and Ecosphere. He authored several books that have captured the public imagination: "Sustainability in the Outback: Navigating the Challenges of Climate Change," which explores practical approaches to environmental preservation in rural Australia; "The Water Cycle Enigma: Unraveling the Mysteries of Our Planet’s Lifeblood," delving into the complex systems governing water distribution; "Nature’s Gambit: How Probability Shapes Our Understanding of Biodiversity," discussing the role of chance in species survival; "Symbols of the Earth: A Journey Through the Language of Environmental Science," tracing the evolution of terminology in the field; and "Coincidence or Conservation: Bridging the Gap Between Human Activity and Wildlife Preservation," which examines unexpected connections between human actions and wildlife conservation efforts.

His most recent publication, "The Horizon Illusion: Rethinking Our Perception of Time in Nature," challenges conventional views on how time influences our approach to environmental stewardship. Released in March 2024, it invites readers to consider new perspectives on the dynamic relationship between natural cycles and human intervention.
