Daniel William Johnson

Motto:Champions keep playing until they get it right.
Daniel William Johnson is a certified mental health counselor with over two decades of experience in Seattle, Washington. He has dedicated his career to supporting individuals through both community clinics and his own private practice, focusing on therapy and personalized care plans. For the past 15 years, he has specialized in geriatric mental health, where he now provides crucial support for elderly residents at local senior living facilities.
From the beginning of his career, Daniel noticed how critical accurate diagnosis and informed treatment plans are for effective mental health care. This realization sparked his passion for enhancing diagnostic techniques and mentoring upcoming professionals in the field. As an adjunct faculty member, he instructs courses on aging and mental health, develops workshops that highlight the unique challenges faced by older adults, and oversees internship programs for aspiring counselors.
Daniel's commitment to improving mental health services for seniors has also led him to author "Bridging Generations: Enhancing Mental Health Care for the Elderly," which will be published by Springer in the spring of 2025. Through his work, Daniel hopes to inspire a new generation of therapists who are better equipped to understand and address the needs of the aging population.
