David Jonathan Wilson

David Jonathan Wilson, MD, is a distinguished adult, child, and adolescent psychiatrist with a specialization in integrating mental health services within community support systems. His compassionate approach to patient care emphasizes the importance of holistic, family-focused, and community-driven mental health solutions.
Dr. Wilson completed his medical degree at Harvard Medical School. Following this, he pursued advanced training in Psychiatry at Stanford University and specialized further in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Boston Children's Hospital. He has also undergone extensive training in various therapeutic approaches, including humanistic therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and systemic family therapy. His research interests lie in enhancing mental health outcomes for youth from underserved communities and promoting equitable access to mental health resources.
Since 2022, Dr. Wilson has been actively involved in policy-making bodies and advisory groups through partnerships with the American Psychiatric Association and local government health agencies. In his role as an advisor, he has contributed to shaping policies that address mental health challenges faced by young people in urban settings. He has provided expert guidance to organizations such as the Urban Youth Mental Health Coalition and the Community Wellness Network, helping them develop programs that are culturally sensitive and responsive to the needs of diverse populations.
