Dominic King, an esteemed figure in the world of paleontology, has recently retired from his long-standing position as Chief Curator at the National History Museum in London. Dominic has been actively contributing to the Department of Earth Sciences at Cambridge University and is now a visiting scholar at the Center for Ancient Life Studies at UCLA. Prior to his work in London, Dominic spent several years teaching at Duke University in North Carolina, was a guest professor at the Beijing Natural History Museum, and led expeditions in the Gobi Desert as the head of the Paleontology Research Lab based in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dominic has always been fascinated by the mysteries of ancient life, dedicating decades to uncovering the secrets hidden within fossils. His passion for exploration took him across continents, from the vast expanses of the Mongolian steppes to the heart of the American Southwest, where he participated in groundbreaking discoveries that have reshaped our understanding of prehistoric times. Now, settling into a well-deserved retirement in Santa Barbara, California, Dominic continues to inspire the next generation of scientists through occasional lectures and writings.
