Motto:He who has a strong enough why can bear any how.

Dominica Bennett became the first directly elected female mayor of Millbrook, a charming town in New Hampshire, after serving as a town selectwoman and conservation commissioner. Her journey into local politics began when she noticed the lack of transparency in town affairs and felt compelled to make a change.

In 2023, Dominica published her debut book, "The Transparent Path: Navigating Openness, Honesty, and Reform in a New England Town," which delves into the challenges and victories she experienced while tackling issues of transparency in local governance. This book is part of her Transparency Matters Series, which also includes titles like "Council Chambers 101 — A Beginner's Guide for Elected Officials," "Community Voices 101 — Advocacy Strategies for Residents," and an interactive webinar series, "Green Governance, Innovations in Sustainable Leadership."

Through her work, Dominica empowers residents and their representatives to actively participate in a government that thrives on openness and community involvement. She shares her insights through dynamic speaking engagements, personalized consulting services, leadership coaching, and her popular podcast, "Transparency Talks."

Before entering politics, Dominica pursued her passion for storytelling and earned a BA in journalism from Boston University. She then went on to complete an MSc in environmental management at the University of Edinburgh, which fueled her dedication to sustainable practices in public administration.
