Motto:If you want to be a leader, serve others first.
Edward Thompson, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist and the founder of Thompson Mind Center, a private practice nestled in the heart of San Francisco. Edward specializes in resilience coaching, helping individuals unlock their potential and thrive in challenging environments. Alongside his clinical work, Edward has dedicated years to researching human resilience, with his findings contributing significantly to the field. His post-doctoral research took him across the globe, most notably to Harvard University's Department of Psychology, where he explored how different cultures perceive and foster resilience.
On a crisp autumn morning in November 2023, Edward hosted an international symposium at the Golden Gate Convention Center. Experts from around the world gathered to discuss innovative approaches to mental health care. Edward's keynote speech highlighted the importance of cultural sensitivity in psychological practices, advocating for tailored interventions that respect individual backgrounds. This event marked a significant milestone in Edward's career, setting a new standard for inclusive psychology in the 21st century.
