Eliot Thompson, a passionate educator, completed his Bachelor of Arts in education at Amherst College, earned a Master of Education from the University of Vermont, and received his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Boston University. Inspired by a desire to make a difference in his community, Eliot launched a podcast in early 2023.
Living in the vibrant city of Portland, Oregon, Eliot found himself surrounded by a diverse group of educators and learners, all eager for knowledge and exchange. His podcast, "EdVox," started as a platform to share personal insights and classroom stories. But as it grew in popularity among teachers and parents alike, Eliot decided to pivot its focus.
Today, EdVox serves as an interactive space where Eliot addresses listener queries on innovative teaching methods, inclusivity in education, and strategies for supporting students with diverse learning needs. Through heartfelt conversations and interviews with experts in the field, Eliot has turned EdVox into a valuable resource for anyone interested in advancing educational practices.
