Eloise Knight

Motto:Share and share alike.
Eloise Knight, a dedicated clinical psychologist, has been enriching the lives of her patients at the San Francisco Wellness Center since 2015. Eloise is one of the founding members of the Mindfulness and Wellbeing Institute, established within the University of California, Berkeley. She served as the Vice President of the Academy for Mindful Practices from 2018 to 2023.
Eloise runs her private practice in the heart of San Francisco, where she specializes in mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. An avid practitioner of meditation and yoga herself, Eloise has been exploring the intersection of these practices with psychology for over two decades. Her latest venture involves pioneering a program that integrates mindful awareness into daily therapeutic sessions, aiming to help her clients find peace and balance in their lives.
In 2024, Eloise co-authored "Therapeutic Presence: A Practitioner's Guide to Mindfulness-Based Therapy," which quickly became a go-to resource for therapists looking to deepen their understanding of mindfulness techniques. The book not only highlights the importance of being present with one’s clients but also offers practical advice on incorporating mindfulness into therapy.
Eloise is also known for her contributions to various publications, including "The Art of Mindful Living," "Embracing Diversity in Mindfulness Practice," and "Mindfulness in Modern Therapy." Her most recent work, "A Parent's Path to Peace: Cultivating Self-Compassion," guides parents through the challenges of raising children while maintaining their own mental health and well-being. Through her writing and teaching, Eloise continues to inspire both new and seasoned practitioners in the field of mindfulness and psychotherapy.
