Emma Charlotte Anderson

Motto:You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.
Emma Charlotte Anderson, Ph.D., is a dedicated educator at the heart of London's academic scene, teaching psychology at King's College London. Since 2018, she has been enriching the university with her expertise as a personality psychologist. Emma earned her Ph.D. in psychology from Oxford University in 2016 and completed her BA in psychology at the University of Edinburgh in 2012. Interestingly, she also had an unconventional start in education, repeating first grade in 1998.
Emma's passion revolves around understanding human behavior, particularly focusing on emotional intelligence and its impact on personal development. Her research delves into how people perceive emotions and use this awareness to build stronger relationships. Outside of academia, Emma enjoys connecting with nature during her weekend hikes, exploring the city's vibrant music scene, and sharing quality time with her partner and their rescue dog, Max. She finds joy in fostering a deep connection with those around her, always striving to create a meaningful dialogue about mental health and well-being.
