Emmanuel is the CEO and founder of Urban Roots, an innovative urban farming initiative that empowers communities to grow their own food in the heart of bustling cities. Since 2015, Emmanuel has been at the forefront of this green revolution, transforming unused spaces into thriving gardens across Europe, from Paris to Berlin.
Emmanuel also pioneered the GreenThumb Blueprint, a guide that has inspired hundreds of community groups and individuals to start their own urban farms, bringing fresh produce to areas previously devoid of it.
Beyond leading Urban Roots, Emmanuel frequently engages with local leaders and enthusiasts about sustainable living, community building, and urban agriculture. His workshops and resources have equipped many with the skills needed to create vibrant, self-sustaining neighborhoods that boost both individual and communal well-being.
An avid advocate for sustainability, Emmanuel has authored three books on urban farming and its impact on city life.
