Evelyn Grace Murphy, the dynamic Mayor of Boston, is celebrated nationwide for her pioneering efforts in education reform and was honored as an "Education Innovator" by UNESCO. In 2023, Mrs. Murphy launched LearnBoston, a groundbreaking educational initiative that stands as the most ambitious schooling improvement program in the country. She spearheads the National Education Revitalization Network, uniting over 150 city leaders, educators, and policy thinkers from across the United States to enhance educational outcomes.

Operating from the historic Faneuil Hall in downtown Boston, Evelyn has not only focused on transforming the city's educational landscape but also ensured that every community benefits from technological advancements. As part of her vision, she introduced high-speed internet access in underserved neighborhoods, bridging the digital divide.

In response to the challenges posed by climate change, Mayor Murphy co-chairs Boston’s Sustainability Taskforce, working tirelessly to implement green policies that protect the environment while fostering economic growth. Her leadership extends to championing gender equality, serving as the co-chair of the Council on Women's Empowerment. Evelyn's initiatives aim to create a more inclusive society where everyone, regardless of background, can thrive.
