Evelyn Wilson is a renowned environmental scientist and sustainability advocate, holding the position of Distinguished Professor of Environmental Studies at the University of Melbourne. She earned her Ph.D. in environmental science from the Australian National University in 2005. Before joining the University of Melbourne, she spent a semester teaching at the University of Auckland in New Zealand.
Based in Melbourne, Evelyn has dedicated her career to exploring solutions for sustainable urban development. In addition to her academic pursuits, she is the lead editor of "The Urban Green Space: An Encyclopedic Companion," co-editor of various publications such as "Climate Change: Perspectives on Adaptation and Resilience" and "Building Sustainable Cities," and the author of "Living with Nature: Strategies for Ecological Living" and "Why Cities Need Parks? A Blueprint for Urban Sustainability."
Her work not only focuses on theoretical frameworks but also emphasizes practical applications that can be implemented by communities worldwide. Through her research and advocacy, Evelyn aims to inspire a generation to rethink their relationship with the environment and to foster a more sustainable future.
