Felix Collins

Motto:One good turn deserves another.
Felix Collins, a dynamic and innovative psychologist, has recently taken on the role of Associate Professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences at the University of Melbourne. Felix is also the founding director of the newly established Centre for Human Potential, located in the heart of Melbourne's bustling academic district. He travels extensively, offering workshops and training sessions that focus on enhancing mental resilience, optimizing personal performance, and exploring unconventional methods to improve mental health and manage addiction.
Felix’s pioneering treatment methodologies are informed by his research into cutting-edge neuroscience and behavioral studies, which encompass everything from peak athletic performance to cognitive-behavioral techniques for improving daily life and addressing attention challenges. He is particularly noted for his work on using biofeedback as an alternative approach to support individuals dealing with substance misuse and chronic conditions like diabetes.
Previously, Felix was instrumental in establishing the Resilience Hub within the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where he served as clinical director, fostering a space dedicated to stress management and psychological well-being. He was also one of the visionary co-founders of the Harmony Retreat Wellness Center, which has become renowned for its holistic healing programs.
Felix's latest book, "Unlocking Your Potential: 8 Keys to Building Mental Toughness and Living a Fulfilling Life," released this October, delves into practical strategies for mastering stress, enhancing vitality, and aging gracefully. Readers can explore more about Felix and his work through his website: FelixCollinsPsychology.com.
As we step into December 2024, Felix continues to inspire countless people across Australia and beyond, encouraging them to embrace a healthier mindset and lead more vibrant lives.
