Ferdinand Green is a renowned environmental scientist, former park ranger, global sustainability advocate, speaker, and celebrated author of over 20 books that have been translated into multiple languages across the globe. Ferdinand hosts the popular podcast series "Eco Trails," where he discusses the latest in green technology and conservation efforts, and has been featured in the ongoing project "Profiles in Sustainability."
In early 2024, Ferdinand embarked on an ambitious project to restore ancient forests in the heart of New Zealand's South Island. His dedication to this cause earned him a place as a visiting scholar at the University of Canterbury's Department of Environmental Science, where he also lectured part-time. Moreover, he served as an advisor for the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
Ferdinand’s latest book, "Journey Through Time: A Tale of Forests and Futures," combines elements of adventure and environmental stewardship. His "Green Living Series" includes titles such as "A Day in the Life of Our Planet," "Seven Seasons of Sustainable Living," "Resilience of the Earth," and "The Eco Artist's Sketchbook." The best-selling "Tools for a Greener Tomorrow" received accolades with two prestigious awards for Best Book in Environmental Science and Sustainability.
His works "Clearing the Air" and "The Green Code" were highlighted as "must-reads" in the field of environmental science by the journal Nature in 2019 and 2013, respectively. Other publications include the widely read "60-Second Sustainability Tips," "Reflections of a Ranger," and many more. Ferdinand continues to inspire audiences around the world with his passionate advocacy for a sustainable future.
