Finley Reed

Motto:Haste makes waste.
Finley Reed is a prominent figure at the University of California, Berkeley's Goldman School of Public Policy. He earned his PhD in Behavioral Economics from Harvard University. Reed moved to Berkeley in early 2023, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for community development.
Currently, Finley is the head of the Urban Engagement and Social Innovation Hub (UESIH), an initiative that places a strong emphasis on fostering civic participation, urban sustainability projects, and innovative solutions to societal challenges. The UESIH team works closely with local communities in San Francisco, organizing workshops and events aimed at encouraging active citizenship and collaborative problem-solving.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Finley enjoys engaging directly with the public, often seen at local cafes or community centers, discussing ways to enhance urban living and promote social cohesion.
