Gabriella Baker, L.M.F.T., is the author of seven inspiring books that focus on enhancing emotional intelligence and building stronger interpersonal connections. Her latest work, "Heartfelt Connections: A Guide to Deepening Relationships," has been widely acclaimed for its innovative approach to personal growth and relationship management. Other titles include "The Art of Listening: Transforming Communication in Couples," which is now in its second edition, and "Empathy in Action: Strategies for Everyday Life," recently translated into Spanish and Japanese.
Over her career, Gabriella has shared her expertise through more than 200 articles in popular magazines and professional journals. She contributed a chapter to "Pioneering Practices in Family Therapy," where she was recognized as one of the leading family therapists globally. She has also been a long-time advice columnist for "Modern Relationships" magazine and a contributing editor to "Mindful Living Today." Her engaging writing style has earned her two national awards for Best Mental Health Advocacy Writing.
A graduate of Stanford University and the University of California, Berkeley, Gabriella has taught as an adjunct professor at various institutions. She conducts workshops and seminars both domestically and abroad, focusing on empathy training, couple therapy, and therapeutic supervision. Currently, she practices in San Francisco, California, where she helps individuals and families navigate their paths toward greater understanding and connection.
