Gladys

Motto:The best way to find peace is to forgive and let go.
Gladys Morgan, LCSW, is a seasoned clinical social worker with over two decades of experience. Gladys specializes in supporting adults and their families through challenging transitions, focusing on mental health recovery and personal growth. Operating from her heart-centered approach, she has implemented innovative strategies to connect with and uplift her clients, working in diverse settings such as urban community clinics, outpatient facilities, university counseling centers, and now from her own practice in downtown Seattle.
Gladys contributes regularly to platforms like Medium and Psychology Today, sharing insights on mental wellness and family dynamics. She co-authored the book "Bridging Generations: Strategies for Effective Family Communication" (2023), which offers practical advice for fostering better understanding among family members across different age groups.
Gladys delights in delivering workshops and talks at conferences and community events, addressing themes pertinent to adult development, therapeutic interventions, mental health advocacy, and nurturing supportive family environments. In addition to her speaking engagements, she mentors doctoral candidates and serves as a guest lecturer at the University of Washington School of Social Work.
At her practice, Gladys Morgan & Co., she oversees a team that provides personalized therapy services tailored to individual and family needs. The clinic also runs a progressive mindfulness-based stress reduction program aimed at adults navigating life changes. A proud alumna of Howard University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, and New York University, where she completed her Master’s in Social Work, Gladys continues to be a dedicated advocate for mental health awareness and education.
On a beautiful spring morning in April 2024, Gladys welcomed a new chapter in her career by hosting an open house at her newly renovated office space, inviting colleagues, clients, and friends to celebrate this milestone together in the vibrant city of Seattle.
