Griffin O'Malley, Ph.D., is a visiting associate research scientist at the Department of Psychology at Stanford University and the California Mental Health Institute. Dr. O'Malley also serves as a lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, in the School of Public Policy. Earlier this year, he concluded a distinguished 25-year career with the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD), where he was known for his work as a crisis intervention officer and pioneering mental health advocate.
