Griffin O'Malley, Ph.D., is a visiting associate research scientist at the Department of Psychology at Stanford University and the California Mental Health Institute. Dr. O'Malley also serves as a lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, in the School of Public Policy. Earlier this year, he concluded a distinguished 25-year career with the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD), where he was known for his work as a crisis intervention officer and pioneering mental health advocate.
Dr. O'Malley focuses his research on community resilience, psychological well-being, leadership development, and innovative approaches to public safety. His seminars have reached audiences from all corners of the globe, including emergency service personnel and healthcare professionals.
He has been an active speaker at numerous international conferences, delivering engaging keynotes, panel discussions, and interactive workshops tailored for diverse academic and professional groups. Through his dynamic presentations, Dr. O'Malley inspires change and promotes best practices in mental health awareness and crisis management.
