Hannah Thompson, Ph.D., is a dedicated clinical psychologist with a specialization in cognitive-behavioral therapy, and the author of "Finding Your Path: A Guide to Personal Growth and Resilience." Hannah has built a reputation for her compassionate, patient-focused approach to mental health care, education, and research. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, after completing two master’s degrees in Psychology and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Hannah completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine's Department of Psychiatry, where she specialized in integrating mental health services into primary care settings. Currently, she runs Thompson Wellness and Consultation Center, located in San Francisco, offering personalized telehealth services and workshops aimed at empowering individuals and professionals alike.
As an active member of the PSYPACT, Dr. Thompson provides remote consultations to clients across various states, supporting them on their journey toward mental well-being. Her work extends beyond individual sessions; she also leads training programs and retreats designed to enhance leadership skills, foster resilience, and promote effective communication within teams.
Previously, Hannah held the position of Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology at UCLA Medical Center, where she contributed significantly to the development of innovative teaching methods and wellness initiatives for students and staff. During her tenure, she played a key role in establishing support systems for those facing academic and personal challenges.
Dr. Thompson continues to serve in leadership roles within several professional organizations, including the American Psychological Association, the California Psychological Association, and the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies. Her contributions have been instrumental in shaping policies and promoting best practices in the field of psychology.
This past spring, Hannah was invited to speak at a national conference on mental health awareness, sharing insights gained from years of experience and research.
