Harper Gray, a dedicated mental health advocate and clinician, serves as the Chief of Psychiatric Services at the newly established Hope Wellness Center in Denver, Colorado. The center is part of the city's Department of Public Health and Environment, focusing on holistic approaches to mental health and wellness. Harper is also an Adjunct Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, where she inspires future generations of mental health professionals.

Having earned her MD from Harvard Medical School and completed a PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harper pursued her psychiatric residency at the prestigious Mayo Clinic, followed by a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. Her academic career has seen her hold faculty positions at institutions such as the University of Denver, Boston University, and the University of California, San Francisco.

She is particularly passionate about integrating cultural competency into mental health practices and has spearheaded initiatives that focus on reducing stigma and increasing access to care for minority populations. Under her leadership, the Hope Wellness Center launched a groundbreaking program that combines traditional therapy with community-based support groups, aiming to bridge the gap between clinical treatment and everyday life.

Dedicated to advancing the field, Harper has secured substantial funding from both public and private sources to support her innovative projects. She is currently leading a multi-year study that examines the effectiveness of telemedicine in providing mental health services to rural areas.
