Harrison

Motto:Trust in yourself and you will be unstoppable.
Harrison Thompson, a dedicated mental health advocate and therapist, has spent the last seven years working with individuals ranging from young adults to middle-aged adults. His journey began in earnest after facing personal challenges related to anxiety and self-esteem during his college years at Duke University. Harrison realized that many of the limiting beliefs he held about himself – that he was somehow less capable or less deserving than others – were rooted in experiences from his formative years. Seeking help through therapy was transformative for him; it not only helped him overcome these internal barriers but also inspired him to pursue a career where he could assist others on similar paths.
In 2018, while pursuing his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at New York University, Harrison initiated a peer support initiative named Flourish. This platform provided a space for open conversations around mental wellness and professional development, resonating deeply within the university community and beyond. The initiative gained significant traction and recognition, which played a pivotal role in Harrison receiving an international research fellowship in Australia in 2021.
Since completing his studies and obtaining licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in 2023, Harrison has been committed to fostering resilience and personal growth among his clients. He currently runs a thriving practice in downtown Sydney, offering both in-person and online sessions to accommodate a wider audience. Through compassionate guidance and evidence-based practices, Harrison empowers his clients to challenge their inner critics and embrace their full potential, helping them lead more fulfilling lives.
