Harry Lee is a celebrated educator, writer, and public speaker. He founded ReadGlobal, an innovative literacy initiative that supports young learners in Singapore and has since expanded to over 70 countries worldwide. Alongside this, Harry established ReadRight, a dynamic advisory service that collaborates with educational institutions to enhance their reading and writing programs.
In 2023, Harry became the Ambassador for Global Learning at a leading educational publisher and was honored with the Educator of the Year Award. He also took part in promoting the "Write Your Future" campaign by PenMates, encouraging children to embrace writing as a tool for self-expression and empowerment.
Harry has penned several books aimed at fostering a love for literature among children, such as 'Unlocking the Reader Within', 'Building a Writer’s Mindset' (which won the Family Choice Award), and 'Choosing Books for Every Child'. His latest work, the 'ReadSmart Series', launched in 2022, comprises 16 volumes designed to align with modern learning objectives.
Harry's insights on education and literacy are frequently sought after, and he has contributed to numerous articles and online platforms dedicated to nurturing both school and home reading environments. Recently, he appeared on BBC World News, TED Talks, and Channel NewsAsia, advocating for the transformative impact of literacy on individuals and communities. In recognition of his contributions, Harry was named a Distinguished Fellow for Educational Advancement by the Asia Education Foundation in March 2024.
