Hazel Reed is an environmental scientist and an avid nature blogger. She has penned several books on ecology and conservation, including the acclaimed "Urban Forests and Wildlife Habitats," and co-authored with Lisa Green and Mark Holloway the award-winning "The Urban Bee Project" released by Nature Press. Recently, Hazel moved her research focus to climate change impacts on coastal ecosystems. On a sunny day in early March, while based in the quaint seaside town of Willow Bay, she embarked on an exciting project to document the effects of rising sea levels on local marine life. Her latest endeavor not only aims to raise awareness but also seeks innovative solutions to protect endangered species in the area.
