Henrietta Davis

Henrietta Davis, with a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, is now an Associate Professor of Cultural Studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Lead Researcher at the UK's Centre for Diversity and Inclusion Excellence. She finished her postdoctoral research in culturally-responsive psychology within the Department of Behavioural Sciences at Oxford University.

Henrietta's work focuses on enhancing the effectiveness of educational programs for underrepresented groups by a) exploring how cultural background influences learning outcomes and student engagement, b) pinpointing methods to foster more inclusive classroom environments that cater to diverse student populations, and c) designing innovative educational tools that are both culturally relevant and evidence-based. Her contributions have resulted in over 40 publications, including scholarly articles and chapters covering these areas and related subjects. In March 2023, Dr. Davis received the Distinguished Achievement Award from the British Association for Intercultural Education. She actively participates in several professional organizations, such as the European Association for Social Psychology and the International Society for Educational Research.

Dr. Davis also works as a certified educational consultant based in London. She offers personalized guidance and support to educators and administrators looking to implement culturally sensitive and empirically validated teaching practices for students of all ages.
