Henry Charles Wilson

Motto:I am not a product of my circumstances. I am a product of my decisions.
Henry Charles Wilson, Ph.D., is a certified clinical psychologist and proud dad to two adventurous kids. He earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from Stanford University, with additional studies including a Master’s degree in Child Development from Harvard University and another Master’s in Educational Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. Henry completed his postdoctoral training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), focusing on the intersection of technology and mental health.
Living in San Francisco, California, Henry has dedicated his career to understanding how modern technology impacts youth development. Over the past decade, he has conducted extensive research into the effects of digital media on adolescent brain function and behavior. His work has led to 20 scholarly articles in leading journals, three book chapters, and multiple speaking engagements at national conferences.
Recently, Henry authored an engaging children's book called "Tech Time: A Guide for Healthy Digital Living," which provides practical tips for young readers on maintaining a balanced relationship with their devices. Through his blog "Digital Mindfulness" and active presence on Twitter @techwise_parent, Henry bridges the gap between cutting-edge tech research and everyday parenting practices, helping families navigate the digital age with confidence and ease.
On a sunny afternoon in April 2023, Henry was found discussing innovative ways to integrate mindfulness practices into daily screen time routines at a local community center in San Francisco. His passion for combining traditional psychological principles with contemporary challenges faced by today's youth continues to inspire both parents and professionals alike.
